Job Description

Civil Billing Audit Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Measurement Verification

Audit RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor invoices against BOQ and site execution.
Cross-check measurements with site records and drawings.
Validate quantities, rates, and calculations as per contract.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain billing logs, measurement sheets, and audit reports.
Ensure compliance with CPWD/IS codes and company billing protocols.
Assist in preparing reconciliation statements and change orders.

Coordination & Reporting

Work closely with site engineers, contractors, and finance teams.
Resolve billing discrepancies and support internal audits.
Provide periodic reports on billing status and audit findings.

Cost Monitoring

Support cost control by identifying overbilling or deviations.
Assist in budget tracking and forecasting.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in billing and audit for industrial projects (factories, plants, EPC sites).
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP, SAP).
Familiarity with BOQ formats, contract clauses, and quality standards.

Skills Required

Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Knowledge of industrial safety and construction practices.

Preferred Exposure

Industrial projects such as manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, refineries, or heavy civil works.
Experience with client-side billing or third-party audits.
