Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and PMC Spocs to define project goals, objectives, and requirements.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule, considering available resources and regulatory constraints.
  • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Management:

  • Manage architects including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other personnel.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, monitor their progress, and address any issues that arise.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Schedule Management:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure that work is completed according to the planned schedule.
  • Identify and resolve any delays, conflicts, or issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor work quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions to address any non-compliance or quality issues.
  • Ensure that completed projects meet client expectations and achieve the desired level of quality.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PMC Spoc providing regular project updates and addressing their concerns.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project team members.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, presentations, and other project documentation.

Health and Safety:

  • Promote and enforce safety standards and procedures on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Academic Qualification

Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., B.E./B.Tech-Civil or Construction/Project Management).

Relevant Experience

5-8 years of prior relevant work experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Knowledge

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
