Civil 3D Technician

As a Drafting professional at Jacobs, your role involves contributing to a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects and industrial plant projects. Your impact will be significant as you work effectively within a team, bringing your relevant years of experience in Drafting to the table. Your key responsibilities will include: - Hands-on experience in pressure pipe modeling, gravity pipe modeling, Profile view and band style, sub-assemblies, grading, and corridor modeling using Civil 3D - Conducting clash detection using Navisworks - Working on common data environment (CDE) like ProjectWise and ACC To excel in this role, you'll need: - An associated degree/diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or equivalent - Certification from any CAD institution in AutoCAD or Civil 3D (preferable) Skills and competencies required for this position include: - Extensive working experience with Civil 3D software - Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally - Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development Desired Skills: - Proficiency in Revit software is a plus At Jacobs, people are valued, and the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle enables consistent delivery and exceeding clients" expectations.
