Civil 3D Modeler

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and manage Civil 3D models for infrastructure projects, with a focus on both dry and wet utilities.
• Create and maintain content catalogues to support project requirements and standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings from models, including basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, and sections.
• Produce shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within the models using relevant software tools.
• Coordinate with the lead technical engineer and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of all deliverables.
• Ensure that all drawings and models meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Diploma or Any degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in Civil 3D modelling for infrastructure projects, with a strong background in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in content catalogue creation and shop drawing preparation.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with clash detection tools such as Navisworks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of dry and wet utilities and their modelling requirements.
• Ability to prepare engineering drawings including layouts, profiles, and sections from models.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating with technical teams and managing project.
