Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Civil 3D Developer to join our engineering software development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, be proficient in C# and the .NET framework, and have the ability to build and customize tools and plugins for Civil 3D to support design automation and infrastructure workflows.

Key Responsibilities-

Develop and maintain custom tools and plugins using Civil 3D API.
Work closely with civil engineers, CAD specialists, and project managers to understand workflow needs and implement automation solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug issues within Civil 3D plugins and extensions.
Apply object-oriented design principles in software development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance existing software functionality.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Follow best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Integrate software modules with version control systems such as Git.

Required Skills & Experience-

Demonstrated expertise in Civil 3D software development.
Proficiency in .NET framework and C# programming.
Experience in developing plugins or add-ons for Civil 3D or similar CAD applications.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Hands-on experience with Civil 3D API for custom tool creation.
Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize plugin performance.
Familiarity with software development best practices and design patterns.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
