Circular Knitting Operator

Machine Operation

• Operate circular knitting machines (single jersey, double jersey, rib, interlock, etc.).
• Set machine parameters including speed, stitch length, yarn tension, feeders, and needles.
• Start-up, monitor, and shut down machines as per SOP.
• Change needles, sinkers, cams, and yarn as needed.

Production & Quality

• Ensure production meets daily target output and GSM requirements.
• Continuously inspect knitted fabric for defects (holes, drop stitches, oil stains, barre, uneven yarn tension, etc.).
• Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent fabric quality.
• Record production data, stoppages, and yarn consumption.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of knitting machines.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine faults quickly to reduce downtime.
• Report major breakdowns to maintenance team immediately.
• Replace broken or worn-out needles, sinkers, and other machine components.

Material Handling

• Load yarn packages on creels and ensure correct yarn pathing.
• Check yarn quality before feeding.
• Maintain yarn stock availability at machine.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety guidelines for machine operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area.
• Adhere to company policies, ISO/IMS procedures, and SOPs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
