Role & responsibilities Tax Preparer/Analyst (Canada) Cinovations Business Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Tax Consultant for our leading Canadian Client. This role is essential for providing expert T1 filing services and comprehensive tax advisory over the phone to Canadian clients. Responsibilities Prepare and review Canadian personal income tax returns (T1) for a diverse portfolio of clients. Provide clear and concise tax advice to clients over the phone regarding various Canadian personal tax matters. Respond to tax inquiries from clients and assist with tax authority communications. Maintain accurate and organized client tax records. Stay up-to-date with changes in Canadian personal tax legislation and regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective client service. Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance tax knowledge and advisory skills. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Individuals with a Bachelor degree (engineering/math's/Commerce) and 1-2 years of experience in a tax or accounting firm. MBA finance or M Com freshers are welcome to apply. Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal) is mandatory for effective client communication. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., TaxCycle, ProFile) and accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Typing speed must be at least 30 wpm Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and software. This role is crucial in supporting our Canadian clients with their business tax compliance and advisory needs. Responsibilities Prepare and review Canadian corporate income tax returns (T2) for a diverse portfolio of clients. Preparation of other Canadian tax filings (T1 Filing), including GST/HST filing, payroll processing, and T4/T4A slips, Bookkeeping, Journal Postings. Conduct bank reconciliations. Conduct tax research and provide advice on various Canadian tax matters, including corporate tax planning, reorganizations, and cross-border transactions. Respond to tax inquiries from clients and tax authorities. Maintain accurate and organized tax records. Stay up-to-date with changes in Canadian tax legislation and regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective client service. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CPA/CMA designation (or in progress) is a plus but not mandatory. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business tax, preferably within an accounting firm or a tax firm is a plus. Gather and organize all necessary client documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct thorough review of application forms and supporting documents to ensure compliance with IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, request information, and address inquiries.
