Cinematographer

Adiveda is seeking a Cinematographer with a sharp eye for composition, natural light, and sacred aesthetics to join our visual storytelling team. This is a travel-heavy, field-based role, ideal for someone who thrives behind the camera, works with intuitive precision, and aligns with spiritual and cultural values.

You will collaborate with our creative producer, editors, and founders to shoot reels, YouTube content, temple journeys, spiritual events, and immersive storytelling, with each frame rooted in Sanatana Dharma and modern sensibility.

What You’ll Be Doing

Pre-Shoot Preparation

• Review concepts and scripts to understand visual intention
• Assist with equipment prep, location logistics, and visual references
• Offer suggestions on light, angles, and sacred context

On-Ground Filming

• Shoot with DSLR/mirrorless cameras in natural light-heavy setups
• Operate gimbals and drones for dynamic movement and precision
• Capture emotion-rich closeups, landscapes, rituals, and subtle spiritual moments
• Work fluidly with producers and talent to bring calm presence to high-energy shoots

Post-Shoot Responsibilities

• Organize, transfer, and name footage cleanly
• Collaborate with editors by offering visual cues and context
• Maintain archive hygiene and keep backups in sync with the team

You’re a Great Fit If You...

• Have at least 2.5 years of hands-on experience as a cinematographer / DOP
• Confident using Canon cameras, drones, gimbals, and sound gear
• Work well in natural light setups and culturally sensitive spaces
• Understand aesthetics of sacred environments, rituals, and energy
• Calm, quick, and decisive on the field — while holding presence
• Love long shoot days, spiritual journeys, and temple travel

Location:

Rishikesh (base) + Frequent travel across India (shoots in temples, cities, retreats)

Commitment and Compensation

Full-time and salary as per industry standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
