In this role, you will be responsible for editing, color correction & color grading of various video projects. Your expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve Studio, and After Effects will be essential for creating deep & meaningful narratives across a variety of genres, including weddings, events, maternity, and family videography.

This role is ideal for a creative professional who is passionate about bringing true emotion to life with audio and visual media and creating lasting memories for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand a client&aposs storytelling preference in terms of visual aesthetic & sound design.
• Ability to build an engaging narrative in line with the client&aposs preferences
• Cut, Assemble, Edit, & Color grade videos in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Use advanced effects in After Effects/Davinci Resolve (if required) to create professional-grade transitions & animations.
• Have a good understanding of Music Genres to effectively identify and assign background scores that suit the mood of a video and enhance emotional engagement for the viewer.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure alignment on Creative Vision, Aesthetic Style, and Project Objectives.
• Manage multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

Timings

Monday to Saturday 8:45 AM - 6:45 PM

This is an on-site role. There is no option to work from home.

Hiring Process

• Share your resume with a cover note.
• Telephonic interview
• Hiring Tests & HR Interview. This will be conducted at the Oodio Office Premises.
• The candidates will have to attend the hiring session from 10 AM to 5 PM.

We are open to an online interview if the candidate has a good internet connection and if they are out of Bangalore at that point in time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, including discussing technical details.
• 23 years of experience in video editing, color correction, color grading, motion graphics & visual arts is preferred. (Freshers with a strong aptitude for learning, discipline, and potential will also be considered.)
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects, with hands-on experience of 23 years preferred.
• Bachelors degree in any field.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, consistent results while adhering to project standards and deadlines.

Expected Qualities:

• A sharp eye for Color accuracy, Cinematic Composition, Video Color Science & color theory for creating custom LUTs.
• Advanced knowledge and expertise in understanding of technical aspects of video footage (frame rate, resolution, Color profile, etc.)
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure flawless execution.
• Strong understanding of identifying music beats & rhythms and how to utilize them for adding character to a video.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for smooth client collaboration.
• The ability to multitask and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
