Chief Technology Manager

As the Lead Engineer in the Corporate Bank Technology team based in Pune, India, you will have the opportunity to lead the engineering functions for the Corporate Banking India Tech center. Our global team consists of 3000 Engineers across 30 countries, supporting primary businesses such as Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance, and Trust & Agency Services. You will collaborate with vertical CIO aligned teams and horizontals including Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control to support these businesses effectively. Your role will involve providing leadership and direction for the development of proposals and delivery of initiatives for new implementation projects, in partnership with clients and colleagues. You will lead a team of full-stack engineers, DevOps, and SRE, coaching them in modern engineering practices to optimize time to production. Additionally, you will work on developing and maintaining a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline and contribute to fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and across the department. To excel in this role, you should have 15-20 years of technical and functional experience in financial industry app development, with proficiency in technologies such as Java, SpringBoot, React JS, Kafka, Cloud, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Test Automation, Temporal, MongoDB, among others. Your experience should include running high availability low latency platforms, strong Agile skills, and familiarity with cloud technology, preferably GCP. Furthermore, you will be responsible for people development, promoting engineering culture, and improving productivity among India FTE and vendor staff. You will actively engage in stakeholder management and communication to collaborate effectively with India operations and EMEA/APAC business leaders.
