coimbatore, India Job Summary: We are looking for a vigilant and experienced Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and property. Preference will be given to retired Army personnel or those who have taken Voluntary Retirement (VRS) from Police Services, with strong discipline, physical fitness, and hands-on security management experience. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure the overall safety and security of campus buildings and grounds. Supervise security guards and ensure 24/7 coverage across all key areas. Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify risks and enforce rules. Manage visitor entry protocols and maintain proper logs at all entry/exit points. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action. Coordinate with local police, fire services, or emergency teams when needed. Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and ensure their proper functioning. Maintain and update incident reports, visitor records, and security logs. Enforce staff, student, and visitor compliance with institutional security policies. Provide training and briefings to the security team on updated procedures.
