Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Mate . The Chief Mate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, navigating, and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with crew members, managing ship logistics, maintaining ship's safety standards, and overseeing cargo operations. The role also involves routine inspections, reporting, and liaising with port authorities.

Qualifications

• Experienced in ship navigation, crew management, and ship operations
• Knowledgeable in international maritime regulations and safety standards
• Skills in cargo management, ship logistics, and maintaining vessel compliance
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid Chief Mate certification and relevant sea service experience
• Ability to work independently and manage remote operations
• Experience in offshore and oil & gas sectors is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related field
• PCC required
• COC Indian FG or UK with Indian Endorsement
