Chief Information Officer - (Manufacturing)

You are being hired for the position of CIO (Manufacturing) at a leading automotive components manufacturer based in Chennai. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with its business objectives. You will lead digital transformation initiatives by leveraging technologies such as AI, automation, and advanced analytics, including IIOT. Additionally, you will oversee the SAP S/4 HANA implementation, optimization, and integration with business processes. It will be crucial for you to manage and enhance the IT infrastructure to ensure scalable and secure operations. Strengthening cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard organizational data and mitigate risks will also be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms, ensuring they are effectively in place. Driving IT governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements will be essential. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide mentorship, and develop IT talent. Engaging with C-level executives and board members to present IT roadmaps and strategies will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve balancing Run the Business (RTB) and Change the Business (CTB) priorities effectively. This will require ensuring operational excellence while driving strategic transformation. Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to align IT initiatives with the latest advancements in manufacturing will be crucial. To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 18-23 years of experience in IT leadership roles within the manufacturing sector, preferably in the Automobile/Auto Components industry. Demonstrated expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, AI-driven solutions, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity is required. You should have a proven track record in digital transformation and IT-enabled business growth. As a strategic thinker with in-depth knowledge of the latest tech trends shaping the manufacturing industry, you must possess excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills. The ability to collaborate with senior leadership, board members, and external partners is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are also necessary for this role. Candidates based in Chennai are preferred for this position.
