About Us: AM Naik Charitable Trust The FTI is a hands-on training centre dedicated to empowering working farmers with practical knowledge, innovative technologies, and sustainable practices that enhance productivity and help preserve India's farming heritage. India's agricultural future depends on reinvesting in its current farmersnot diverting them away from the soil. Developed under A. M. Naik Philanthropy, the institute aims to equip small and marginal farmers with the tools, skills, and support they need to stay successful and self-reliant on their land. As our knowledge partner, GVT Krishikul, Parli Vaijnath (www.globalvikastrust.org), has already demonstrated the transformative power of this model. Their work in Maharashtra spans 4700 villages, with 5.75 crore horticulture trees planted and farmer incomes rising from Rs 38,000 to Rs 3,90,000 per acre. Their FTI, Krishikul, is already operational in Maharashtra. Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary and committed CEO to lead the farmers' training institute's mission with strategic insight, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of farmer- centric development. This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape the future of Indian agriculture by directly supporting the hands that feed the nation. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term strategy to deliver high-impact training programs that empower existing farmers. Operations: Oversee daily functioning of the institute, ensuring optimal use of resources and seamless delivery of training. Program Development: Create relevant, action- oriented modules on modern farming methods, sustainable practices, and low-cost innovations. Financial Management: Ensure financial health of the institute, build partnerships, and design fundraising strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with farmer groups, local communities, government bodies, NGOs, and agri-tech players. Impact Measurement: Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness; adapt based on feedback and performance metrics. Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and nurture a passionate and capable team aligned with the institute's values and vision. Required Qualifications: Education: Degree/ Masters / PhD in Agriculture (preferably horticulture), Business Administration, Rural Development, or related fields (MBA preferred). Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior roles within agriculture, rural development, or non-profit sectors. Skills: Proven leadership, financial acumen, stakeholder relationship management, and a genuine passion for empowering farmers.
