Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement DevOps pipelines and cloud-native solutions on AWS (and optionally Azure).
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and security automation.
• Collaborate with customer development, QA, and operations teams to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
• Lead cloud migration and modernisation initiatives with a focus on automation and scalability.
• Evaluate and integrate DevOps tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers and developers.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across cloud environments.
• Support proposal preparation and solutioning for cloud and DevOps-related opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in cloud and DevOps architecture roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  AWS DevOps

  services (e.g., CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Proficiency in

  IaC tools

  like Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cost optimisation in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
• Azure DevOps experience (e.g., Azure Pipelines, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Exposure to Agile/SAFe delivery models.
