Chief Architect – AI-Driven SaaS & ERP Integration

About Us

We are building a next-generation, cloud-based revenue management platform that includes rebates, royalties, commissions, chargebacks, TPM, and, price optimization.
Our first integration will be with SAP S/4HANA, with plans to connect to Oracle and other ERP systems. The product will emphasize application speed, real-time analytics, and AI-powered insights to transform revenue management for global enterprises.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief Architect to design and guide the technical architecture of our multi-tenant SaaS platform. You will make key decisions on cloud infrastructure, system scalability, performance optimization, AI integration, and ERP connectivity.

This is a hands-on architecture role — you’ll collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams while ensuring the product delivers low latency, intuitive dashboards, and analytics-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall architecture for the SaaS platform (backend, frontend, data, AI, integrations).
• Define and enforce performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Lead the design of data pipelines for real-time dashboards and analytics.
• Guide ERP integration architecture (initially SAP S/4 via OData, IDoc, RFC).
• Oversee AI/ML model integration for forecasting, anomaly detection, and recommendations.
• Select and optimize cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Mentor engineering teams and perform architecture/code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in an architect or principal engineer role.
• Proven experience designing multi-tenant SaaS applications at scale.
• Strong expertise in Node.js (TypeScript/NestJS) or Java (Spring Boot).
• Cloud infrastructure design experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Snowflake/BigQuery, and Redis.
• Experience with Kafka/Kinesis for real-time streaming.
• Knowledge of vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone) and AI orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• ERP integration experience (preferably SAP S/4HANA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analytics frameworks (Cube.js, dbt).
• Familiarity with frontend performance considerations for dashboards.
• Understanding of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures for AI.
• Prior work in fintech, supply chain, or ERP-based business systems.
