Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Chess Coach. The Chess Coach will be responsible for providing online chess instruction to children, developing and implementing lesson plans, tracking student progress, preparing students for competitions, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Chess Coach will also engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development and provide feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in online teaching and chess coaching
• Strong understanding of chess strategies and the ability to teach these concepts to children
• Proven track record of preparing students for chess competitions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• FIDE rating or equivalent chess experience is a plus
