Job Title: Chemistry Teacher – Grades 11 & 12 Location: DQ Labs, Indiranagar Position Type: Part – Time – 2 hour sessions – thrice a week Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chemistry teacher to instruct students of Grades 11 and 12, preparing them for board examinations and higher education. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the subject, the ability to deliver complex concepts in a simplified manner, and a flair for engaging and motivating young minds. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry in alignment with the curriculum – NIOS board (syllabus is similar to CBSE) Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical experiments to support conceptual learning. Conduct laboratory sessions with a strong emphasis on safety and proper scientific procedure. Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, projects, and exams. Provide individualized support and academic guidance to students as needed. Prepare students for board exams with targeted revision plans, doubt-clearing sessions, and mock tests. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance interdisciplinary learning. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events. Stay updated with developments in the field of Chemistry and innovative teaching methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred. Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Key Skills: Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry. Effective classroom management and communication skills. Ability to make abstract concepts accessible and interesting. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Empathy, patience, and a student-centric approach. Job Type: Part-time Pay: ₹200.00 - ₹350.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 09/06/2025
