Chemist / Sr. Chemist

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

B.Sc./M.Sc. with Minimum 2 to 6 years of working experience in Mineral or Paint industries.

Good knowledge of mineral related testing & methods.

Familiar with chemical/physical analysis & should be willing to work with his own hand.

Familiar with Malvern Mastersizer - 3000 & High Speed Stirrer will be advantageous.

Role & responsibilities

Responsible to Conduct Quality Testing activities as per quality standards for RM, In-process & FG

Responsible for Performing relevant testing for product development.

Responsible for Maintaining all Lab related records up to date.

Responsible to Prepare lab related documents & share to relevant stakeholders

Manage stock levels of all consumable materials in the lab & ensure to procure timely.

Good working experience in MS-Office & Familiar with CRM tools.

Maintain Equipment cleanliness in the lab.

Maintain High class 5S & safety standards in the lab.

Conduct STM within the department.

Follow & Implement defined safety standards as per company protocol.

Ensure to Deliver the Right Quality Product to the customer.

Ensure to Receive the Right Quality Product from the supplier.

Close collaborative working with production & logistics team.

Good knowledge of mineral related testing & methods.

Familiar with chemical/physical analysis & should be willing to work with his own hand.

Good communication skills.

Ability to prioritize work activities and to manage with minimum supervision.

Should be result oriented.

Should have sophisticated instrument handling knowledge.

Should be ready to work in shift operations.
