Responsibilities: Testing sponge iron chemistry hourly and segregating material by grade for SMS dispatch and outside clients. Responsible for quality results of all incoming raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products; reporting to higher management. Attending joint analysis with SMS & external parties. Sample collection and preparation from incoming raw materials by rake, road transport as per IS methods. Conducting chemical and physical analysis of iron ore pellets/lumps, coal, dolomite, sponge iron, and other materials (parameters: Ti, Al, TM, MPS, size analysis, CCS, porosity, proximate analysis, metallic iron, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, alumina, CaO & MgO, total iron, LOI, coal sulfur, furnace oil, diesel density, GCV). Performing chemical analysis of minerals & ores, raw materials (limestones, dolomite, calcium lime, raw water), thermal coal, coke, adhering to NABL/ISO/ASTM/BIS/AISI standards. Environmental monitoring including stack emission, ambient air quality, noise, water, and flue gas analysis using ORSAT apparatus. Strengths: Dedication, creative thinking, diplomatic interpersonal skills, cultural adaptability, effective communication, exceptional relationship management, ability to relate at all business levels. Instrument Handling: Satmagan, OES Spectrometer, Strohlein apparatus, Bomb Calorimeter, ARL 3460 Spectrometer, UTM, Metallurgical Microscope, Rockwell Hardness Tester. Key Result Areas: Analysis reporting, wet analysis of ramming mass, madgun mass, sodium silicate, CPC, lime, spectrometer operations, checking mechanical (hardness, UTS, YS, elongation), chemical, and metallurgical properties (micro etching, microstructures, grain size, non-metallic inclusions) of steel. IT Skills: Operating Systems: Windows 7/XP/Vista, MS Office, HTML, SAP, company-specific software tools.

You will be responsible for performing sampling and testing of raw materials, feed ingredients, and finished products. This includes conducting routine chemical and physical analyses such as moisture, protein, fiber, ash, fat content, and adulteration detection. It is crucial to maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports for documentation and audits. Additionally, you will ensure the calibration and proper functioning of laboratory instruments and equipment. Your role will also involve assisting in preparing standard solutions, reagents, and sample preparations. As part of the team, you will support senior chemists and quality assurance teams in root cause analysis and troubleshooting. Compliance with GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols during lab activities is essential. You will monitor quality deviations and escalate issues as required. Participation in internal audits, inspections, and sample collection as per SOPs will be expected from you. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a feed mill, food processing unit, or analytical laboratory is required. Freshers with academic lab experience and good technical understanding are also encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for fresher candidates. Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Executive to support the testing and quality assurance processes in our pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities: Conduct chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques like HPLC, GC, UV, IR, KF, and titration methods. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all analytical data as per GMP and GLP requirements. Assist in the preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analytical reports, and CoAs. Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards during lab operations. Participate in stability studies, method validation, and method transfer as required. Support investigations for Out-of-Specification (OOS) and deviation reports. Coordinate with QA, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely release of materials and products. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards.
