Chemical - Sourcing / Purchase

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemicals Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sourcing within the chemical industry, with a keen understanding of market trends, supplier relationships, and negotiation strategies. As a Chemicals Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and procuring raw materials and chemicals to support our manufacturing operations and product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Supplier Identification and Evaluation

· Research and identify potential suppliers of raw materials and chemicals

· Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as quality, reliability, cost, and sustainability practices

Negotiation and Contract Management

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements

· Manage supplier contracts and relationships to optimize value and mitigate risks

Market Analysis and Forecasting

· Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions affecting chemical procurement

· Conduct market analysis and forecasting to anticipate future supply needs and identify cost-saving opportunities

Quality Assurance and Compliance

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for chemical procurement

· Coordinate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain quality standards for purchased materials

Continuous Improvement

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency, supplier performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness

· Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline procurement processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
