The Chemical Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and optimized handling of key process reagents—Sodium Cyanide (NaCN), Caustic Soda (NaOH), and Acids (HCl/H₂SO₄)—used in gold processing operations. This includes overseeing reagent storage, preparation, dosing, and monitoring
Key duties include designing and maintaining reagent storage and dosing systems, supervising safe dilution practices, and ensuring accurate dosing through process control and instrumentation. The role involves tracking reagent consumption, optimizing usage, minimizing waste, and supporting procurement planning.
