Job Title: Chef – Industrial / Bulk Cooking
Location: Irugur

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and efficient Chef to manage bulk food preparation in a factory or industrial kitchen setup. The role involves large-scale cooking for employees or external supply, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and timely production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in large quantities as per daily production requirements.
• Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines for consistency.
• Ensure all meals are prepared hygienically and meet food safety standards.
• Supervise kitchen helpers or assistants involved in cutting, cleaning, and pre-preparation work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of ingredients and cooked food.
• Coordinate with the operations/production team to meet daily meal targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bulk or industrial cooking (e.g., in factory, hostel, catering unit, or canteen).
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Formal culinary training or certification is a plus, but not mandatory with sufficient experience.
