Checker

We are seeking a skilled Tekla & SDS2 Checker with strong expertise in reviewing and validating structural steel models and drawings created in Tekla Structures & SDS2. The ideal candidate must have solid knowledge of AISC standards, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance across all project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and check 3D Tekla & SDS2 models, GA drawings, shop drawings, and connection details.
• Ensure all drawings comply with AISC standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Verify dimensions, weld symbols, bill of materials, and fabrication details for accuracy.
• Identify modeling or detailing errors and provide clear corrections or markups to modelers.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and detailers to resolve design or clarity issues.
• Maintain drawing quality, consistency, and completeness across the entire project.
• Track revisions, ensure document control, and maintain project check logs.
• Support QA/QC processes and improve detailing best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Tekla & SDS2 Checker/Steel Detail Checker.
• Strong working knowledge of AISC standards and steel detailing requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures.
• Deep understanding of structural steel connections, fabrication, and erection workflows.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately.
• Strong communication skills and close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience checking drawings for US-based steel projects.
• Prior background as a Tekla Modeler/Detailer.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and RFI processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
