Role & responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

IPO Management

1. Group Financial Strategy & Oversight with IPO Management

Consolidate financial operations across all group entities.

Develop short- and long-term financial plans.

Align group-wide financial planning with business goals.

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance (local and international if cross-border).

Optimize tax structure across the group to minimize liabilities legally.

Lead discussions with tax consultants, auditors, and regulators.

Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impacts on the group.

3. IPO Preparation & Execution

Lead IPO readiness assessment (governance, audit, disclosures, etc.).

Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with listing standards (IFRS/GAAP).

Coordinate with investment bankers, legal teams, and auditors.

Manage investor roadshows and reporting systems post-listing.

4. Banking & Treasury Management

Maintain strong relationships with multiple banks and financial institutions.

Optimize cash flow and working capital across entities.

Oversee financing strategies: loans, credit lines, or capital markets.

Manage foreign exchange exposure if applicable.

5. Risk Management

Identify financial, operational, and market risks.

Implement internal controls and audit mechanisms.

Ensure group-wide compliance with financial and operational risk frameworks.

6. Leadership & Team Management

Lead a team of finance professionals across different subsidiaries.

Drive integration of ERP/financial systems for unified reporting.

Foster a performance-driven, compliant financial culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent.

Deep understanding of corporate and international taxation.

Proven experience in IPO execution (preferably for a holding/group structure).

Familiarity with banking products, fundraising, and debt structuring.

Strong grasp of group accounting, consolidations, and cross-entity finance.
