Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in line with accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing process for the hotels accounts.
  • Ensure proper accounting of revenue streams (rooms, F&B, banquets, spa, etc.) as per industry norms.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, payable, and daily cash/credit reconciliations.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards for decision-making.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with department heads.
  • Analyze departmental cost centers and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Monitor operational performance against budgets and highlight variances.
  • Assist management in pricing, yield management, and profitability analysis.

Audit & Compliance

  • Handle internal, statutory, and tax audits; coordinate with auditors for timely completion.
  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems to prevent revenue leakages and fraud.
  • Maintain documentation and reports for corporate and statutory submissions.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships, fund transfers, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Support decisions related to capex planning and asset management.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with the hotels operations, F&B, procurement, and HR teams for financial planning.
  • Present periodic financial performance reports to senior management.
  • Support corporate finance in consolidation and strategic planning activities.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Chartered Accountant (Member of ICAI).
  • 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounts, preferably in the

    hospitality or service industry

    .
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems and industry KPIs (RevPAR, GOP, ADR, occupancy rates, etc.).
  • Proficiency in

    Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle Hospitality, IDS, or similar hotel accounting software

    .
  • Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of hotel operations and cost structures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
