Job Description

managing financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, with a specific focus on construction project costing, budgeting, and subcontractor payments

Financial Oversight
: Manage all financial activities, including overseeing accounting systems, preparing budgets, and forecasting.
Project Accounting
: Track and manage project-specific finances, including job costing, preparing invoices, and analyzing transactions against the budget.
Reporting
: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, budgets, and cash flow analyses.
Compliance
: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and tax laws, including tax planning and filing.
Auditing
: Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Stakeholder Coordination
: Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including management, project managers, and clients, regarding financial matters.
Asset and Cash Management
: Monitor expenditures, asset management, and cash flow across the company's projects and operations.

Qualifications

Education
: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Certification
: A Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
Experience
: At least 5 years of experience is typically required, with a preference for experience in the construction industry.
Skills
: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, with excellent financial analysis and reporting skills.
Industry Knowledge
: Solid knowledge of construction cost accounting and the construction industry itself is crucial.
