Role Overview: As the Finance & Audit Head at VAS INDIA CONSULTING in Chennai, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and audit activities of the company. Your role will involve financial reporting, compliance, finance operations, taxation, ERP & system management, audit & risk management, as well as providing strategic support to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and finalize financial statements following Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS). - Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts. - Liaise with statutory auditors and internal auditors for audits. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS, GST, and Income Tax filings. - Supervise the finance team for accurate and timely transaction processing. - Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Manage tax assessments, audits, and liaise with consultants and regulatory bodies. - Maintain and optimize usage of Tally Prime ERP for financial reporting and compliance. - Design and implement internal audit processes to monitor financial transactions and controls. - Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. - Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Qualification Required: - CA qualification. - Proficiency in Tally Prime ERP. - Strong knowledge of IND AS, Income Tax, GST, and TDS regulations. - Experience in audits, internal controls, and risk management.
