Character Artist

As a Character Artist at Rumbum in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will be responsible for designing and drawing characters for animated stories, rhymes, and web series for the Story Duniya App. Your primary focus will be on creating character angles, flash turnarounds, and rigging, ensuring all tasks are completed within deadlines. If you have a passion for bringing characters to life through drawing, this role is perfect for you. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draw characters from multiple angles (front, side, back, and dynamic views). - Create flash turnarounds and ensure smooth rigging for animation. - Follow feedback positively and make necessary adjustments to meet project needs. - Collaborate with animators and designers to ensure character consistency. - Work within production timelines and deliver high-quality designs on schedule. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong drawing and illustration skills, with the ability to create expressive and appealing characters. - Experience in character rigging and flash turnarounds is a plus. - Familiarity with tools like Krita, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Good time management skills and the ability to handle feedback constructively. - A degree in Fine Arts, Animation, or related field is preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, you will be required to submit a portfolio or demo reel showcasing your character designs, turnarounds, and rigging work.
