In this role, you will be hiring the new development staff, mentoring, coaching and building development plans, oversee each aspect of the quality assurance process, and act as a liaison between development team and upper management. In this role, You will lead and coordinate Test Automation team in all aspects of automation and take ownership of the current automation, recommends new technology, policies or processes to benefit the organization and improve deficiencies. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Mentor, train, and guide team members in cutting-edge testing methodologies, automation tools, and best practices. Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of all testing deliverables across multiple projects. Define, develop, implement, and document comprehensive test strategies that align with overall business objectives and product roadmaps. Ensure that test plans thoroughly address critical aspects of the SaaS product, including functional, performance, security, and data integrity. Proficiently maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete and accurate test coverage throughout the development lifecycle. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks and scripts. Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools (Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman) and oversee their effective implementation to enhance testing efficiency across the organization. Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD/CD) pipeline. Oversee the execution of all types of automated tests, including unit test cases, end-to-end tests, security tests, performance tests, and regression tests. Analyze test results thoroughly, provide clear and actionable feedback to developers, and communicate test outcomes to stakeholders. Develop comprehensive test reports and track key test automation metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and effectiveness. Implement and ensure the adoption of industry-standard test methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and shift-left testing. Establish and maintain a healthy defect management process that includes thorough root-cause analysis and the implementation of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) for field escapes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in test automation tools and techniques. Conduct code reviews of automation scripts and frameworks to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in software testing and test automation. Extensive knowledge of CI/CD/CD concepts and hands-on experience with relevant tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI). Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Java (preferred), Python, or C# for automation script development. Familiarity with TDD/BDD and other modern test methodologies and practices. Proven experience in implementing and managing Requirements Traceability Matrices. Strong understanding of performance testing, security testing, and data integrity testing specifically for cloud-based SaaS products.
