CG Lighting Lead

As a CGI Senior Lead Automotive Lighting Artist at Hogarth, your role will be crucial in creating exceptional visual content for automotive clients by leveraging the latest 3D software and techniques. You will be responsible for mentoring other artists, overseeing daily operations alongside CGI leads, managing projects, communicating with clients, and troubleshooting their needs. Your expertise in lighting automotive products will be instrumental in consistently achieving high-fidelity results. Responsibilities: - Creating exceptional visual content for automotive clients - Mentoring other artists - Communicating with clients and building strong relationships with partner agency Art Directors - Reviewing work and troubleshooting client requirements - Being involved in improving production pipelines Reporting lines and key stakeholders: This role reports to CGI Lighting Supervisor and will collaborate closely with all global CGI teams. Requirements: - Use industry-standard 3D software (Houdini/Max/v-ray) to light and render master-models from automotive clients - Master studio lighting using HDRi techniques and full HDRi environment lighting - Work with in-house pipe team to handle complex 3D and USD files for organizing, rendering, and outputting client content - Proficiency in Photoshop to enhance work created - Follow production workflows and procedures to ensure all assets meet required specifications through quality checks - Possess exceptional attention to detail and good CGI generalist knowledge - Contribute to improving production pipelines In addition to the job responsibilities and requirements, Hogarth values hands-on approach, honesty, heart & soul, a happy family atmosphere, hunger for continuous improvement, inclusion, and impact.
