Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Reporting & Compliance

Reports to the Assistant Supervisor, Senior Technician, or Team Member.
Ensures compliance with 5S standards and maintains a safe working environment.
Keeps the work area clean, safe, and organized at all times.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Performs Level 1 and Level 2 preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting in accordance with Work Instructions (WI) and OCAP.
Carries out scheduled maintenance activities including TPM, PM, and PDM as planned by the Equipment Engineer.
Ensures all production equipment is properly maintained for optimal performan
ce.

Support for Equipment and Process Stability

Supports continuous improvement efforts to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Assists in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
Works to extend the life and improve the reliability of machinery and systems.

Project Participation & Improvement Initiatives

Actively contributes to projects involving:

Equipment utilization
Cost savings
Yield improvements
New machine qualification
Downtime reduction
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) enhancement
Evaluation and qualification of new parts

Applies improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Gemba, Kaizen, or other relevant methodologies.

Mentorship & Training

Provides training and support to new Equipment and PM Technicians to strengthen team skills and performance.

KPIs & Additional Duties

Works towards achieving KPIs set by the Shift Associate Equipment Engineer or Team Member.
Performs additional tasks as assigned, depending on project requirements and team objectives.
