Role & responsibilities Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts. Prepare and execute payments to vendors, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and support documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Assist in month-end closing processes by ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded. Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status, issues, or discrepancies. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports related to accounts payable. Manage and maintain all vendor contracts and engagement records, ensuring timely renewals and compliance. Apply appropriate TDS rates based on the nature of goods or services procured, in line with prevailing tax regulations. Perform thorough three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and vendor invoices. Process vendor payments accurately and within agreed timelines. Generate and maintain relevant reports for audits, management reviews, and reconciliations. Track and ensure timely payments to MSME vendors in compliance with applicable statutory requirements. Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned. Preferred candidate profile 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable preferably in a listed company. Experience in handling large volume preferably in Indian operations. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience of working for at least 2-3 years in SAP environment is a MUST
Candidate should be from Engineering Background (Civil/Hydrology/Mechanical) or related field having more then 5 years of experience Must have thorough knowledge of Water Supply ,Waste Water from design /planning perspective Professional experience in urban development, , or related areas of urban water supply, sanitation and wastewater projects with strong focus on operational and technical matters Should have experience in NRW Consultancy Well conversant about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities. Collaborating with the technical team to design and propose customized water solutions Responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing technical proposals, delivering presentations, and supporting the sales team to close deals.
