Job Title: Payroll Processor Location: Ahmedabad – Head Office Department: Human Resources Reports To: Manager – Payroll & Compliance Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Payroll Processor to manage and execute end-to- end payroll activities in compliance with statutory regulations and organizational policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate salary computation, statutory deductions, and timely disbursement for all employees. Key Responsibilities: Process monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and final payouts. Maintain and update employee master data including new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and attendance records. Calculate and validate statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and LWF, and ensure timely remittance to respective authorities. Generate and distribute payslips, Form 16, and other payroll-related reports. Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll inputs and audits. Ensure compliance with labour laws including Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, and Income Tax regulations. File monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns (EPF, ESI, TDS, etc.) within prescribed deadlines. Address employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and benefits in a timely and professional manner. Stay updated with changes in statutory norms and proactively incorporate them into payroll processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: Any Graduate OR Post Graduate or HR; MBA/PGDM/MLW/MSW in HR or Finance is an advanta ge. 5–8 years of proven experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance. Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory components (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF,Bonus,Gratuity) Proficiency in MS Excel, payroll software. High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity. Strong analytical and time management skills.
