Position: CCTV Technician

Location: Nalgonda Factory

*Key Responsibilities*

A. Installation & Configuration

* Install CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, cables, routers, and related security devices.

* Configure recording settings, viewing angles, storage allocation, and network connectivity.

* Conduct site surveys to identify ideal camera locations and coverage.

B. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

* Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of all CCTV equipment.

* Diagnose and resolve issues related to signal loss, poor video quality, storage failures, and power supply.

* Replace faulty hardware, connectors, cables, or devices as required.

C. Monitoring & Support

* Ensure continuous functioning of surveillance systems without downtime.

* Coordinate with the security team to ensure all critical areas are monitored.

* Respond to alerts, breakdown calls, or system errors immediately.

D. Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain logs for installation, maintenance, and repairs.

* Update system inventory (cameras, NVRs, cables, accessories).

* Report critical issues, damage, missing footage, and system upgrades required.

E. Compliance & Safety

* Ensure cameras cover all mandatory safety and operational zones.

* Follow factory safety protocols while handling electrical and network equipment.

* Ensure secure access control to surveillance systems and footage.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

* Strong knowledge of CCTV systems (DVR/NVR/IP cameras).

* Hands-on experience with cable routing, mounting, crimping, and electrical connections.

* Basic networking knowledge (LAN, IP addressing, router configuration).

* Ability to diagnose technical faults quickly.

* Understanding of factory environment and safety standards.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

4. Qualifications & Experience

* ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

* 2–5 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance, preferably in industrial or factory setup.

* Experience with brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, or similar is preferred.

5. Working Conditions

* Factory-based role.

* Requires physical activity—climbing ladders, cable installation, working at heights.

* May require occasional off-hours support for breakdowns or surveillance issues.
