C/C++ Developer

Role Overview: As a C/C++ Developer at Ascentt, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing applications in C or C++ for system-level and embedded software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient, and secure code for production environments. Your role will involve creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation to support team alignment and project tracking, as well as developing and updating code documentation to ensure clarity, maintainability, and effective knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain software modules in C/C++. - Debug, optimize, and test existing code. - Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams for embedded projects. - Write technical documentation. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Strong programming skills in C and/or C++ (ANSI C, C99 or newer standards, C++11/14/17 preferred). - Experience with memory management, pointers, and low-level debugging. - Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), compilers, and build systems. - Knowledge of version control (Git). - Problem-solving and debugging skills. Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. Experience: - 2-6 years of professional experience in C development (system-level, application, or embedded software). Certifications/Licenses: - Embedded Systems Certification (preferred). - Linux Programming Certification (optional). Technical Skills: - C, C++ basic and advanced features. - Data structures and algorithms. - Embedded systems or Linux internals. - Debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
