Job Description

Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Cath Lab with registration.

Role & Responsibilities

Awareness of the Cath Lab protocols and the lay out.
Supervises carbonization and ensures it is done regularly and effectively.
Demonstrates skill in identifying instruments as per the procedure, checks cleanliness and proper functioning of instruments, packs and sends for autoclaving / gas sterilization.
Ensures all the materials needed for the procedure, instruments set, linen, gown etc. are available.
Ensures the preparation of the patient for cleanliness & skin shaving for the particular procedure.
Ensures the identity of the patient, checks consent is obtained before proceeding the procedure.
Demonstrates skill in assisting the doctor for the procedure.
Ensures the patient is cleaned after applying the dressing and provides a comfortable position.
Is knowledgeable to watch for hematoma and pedal pulse.
Documents vital signs and nursing intervention during the procedure and after the completion of the procedure.
