Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists during catheterization procedures including angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. Monitor patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures. Administer medications and contrast agents as prescribed. Maintain sterile technique and ensure appropriate infection control practices. Prepare and operate specialized equipment such as EKG monitors, defibrillators, and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP). Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient education and care instructions. Accurately document nursing care, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in emergency response situations including Code Blue events. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current practices and emerging technologies in cardiac care. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required) BSN preferred Licensure/Certification: Current and unrestricted RN license [in State] Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification CCRN or RCIS certification preferred (not mandatory but desirable) Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of critical care or emergency nursing experience Previous experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting preferred Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person
