Catering Sales Manager

As a Catering Sales Manager, your role involves identifying potential key accounts in banquet and group events and developing strategies to prioritize and penetrate those accounts. You will be responsible for making outside sales calls to prospective catering customers and clarifying their requirements while suggesting alternative menus and themes. Your key responsibilities include: - Preparing proposals for clients outlining details of proposed functions - Negotiating the sale of catering functions - Conducting on-site client inspections to showcase available services and capabilities - Monitoring customer satisfaction and following up regularly to assess their feedback - Ensuring all materials used are in accordance with brand standards - Providing genuine hospitality and teamwork to deliver exceptional guest service - Resolving guest problems effectively and taking personal responsibility for guest satisfaction - Developing and participating in hotel promotions as required To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Minimum one to three years of hotel catering or convention experience - Local market knowledge is preferred - High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred - Experience in managing to brand standards - Ability to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers - General knowledge of contract laws - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent negotiation and mathematical skills Your skills in catering service, sales, fast-paced environments, and Microsoft Office will be essential for success in this position.,
