Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cataract Surgery Counselor located in Malappuram. The Cataract Surgery Counselor will be responsible for providing pre- and post-operative counseling to patients undergoing cataract surgery. This includes explaining the surgery process, addressing patient concerns, coordinating with ophthalmologists, and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans and recovery processes. The counselor will also assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coordinating follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient counseling, consultation, and patient management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex medical procedures in simple terms
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage patient records and appointments efficiently
• Knowledge of cataract surgery and general ophthalmology practices is a plus
• Empathetic and patient-centric approach to healthcare
• Ability to work on-site in Malappuram
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field is preferred
• Experience in the eye care industry is advantageous
