Job Title: Cataract Surgeon / Glaucoma Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9-10 hours per day including 1 hour break

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Cataract Surgeon and Glaucoma Specialist to join our hospital on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality ophthalmic care to patients, performing surgeries, and managing OPD and IPD patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cataract and/or glaucoma surgeries independently.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in OPD for cataract, glaucoma, and general ophthalmology cases.
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative care with diligence.
• Participate in hospital academic activities and discussions.
• Work closely with other consultants and the management team for smooth patient care delivery.

Educational Qualification:

• MS / DNB Ophthalmology (mandatory)
• Fellowship in Cataract / Glaucoma (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience post MS / DNB.
• In case of fellowship-trained candidates, minimum 2 years of independent practice post fellowship is required.

Salary:

• Final compensation will be commensurate with skills, surgical proficiency, and experience.

Other Terms:

• Full-time association with hospital.
• No allowance for private/personal clinic practice.
• Other terms and benefits are negotiable and will be finalised during discussions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
