Key Responsibilities:
* Handle cash, credit, or debit card transactions with customers
* Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
* Collect payments and issue receipts, refunds, or change
* Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
* Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
* Handle customer complaints and queries professionally
* Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales
* Follow company policies and security procedur
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role is a plus
* Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, POS)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Attention to detail and mathematical skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* High school degree or equiv
