Job Title: Cashier

Reports To: Accounts Head

Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions accurately and efficiently. This includes receiving payments, issuing receipts, and balancing the cash register at the end of the shift. The role demands excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and integrity in handling money and confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and respond to queries.
• Generate accurate invoices and receipts using the dealer management system.
• Accept payments through cash, card, UPI, cheque, or other approved methods.
• Ensure accurate billing and proper handling of customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure balances.
• Report discrepancies, if any, to the supervisor.
• Assist in basic administrative and inventory tasks when needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Any Degree.
• Familiarity with DMS, Tally, or ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Trustworthy and ethical.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,584.04 per month
