Cashier/ Accounts Executive

As a Cashier/Accounts Executive at G8 Rice & Spice Supermarket in Vallikavu, Kollam, Kerala, your role involves handling customer billing efficiently, maintaining accurate cash drawer balances, addressing and resolving customer inquiries or billing issues, and ensuring daily sales reports and cash reconciliation are accurate. Key Responsibilities: - Record daily sales, expenses, and cash flow in accounting software - Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers and journals - Prepare monthly financial reports and statements - Assist in GST filings, tax calculations, and statutory compliance - Coordinate with auditors for timely audits and reporting Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, or related field - 3 years of experience in retail accounting or cashiering - Supermarket experience is mandatory - Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally or other accounting software - Familiarity with POS and billing systems - Strong numerical ability and attention to detail - Good communication and customer service skills In addition to the above role and responsibilities, G8 Rice & Spice Supermarket offers a flexible schedule for Full-time employees with a Day shift.
