Cash & Positions Reconciliation Senior Analyst - C10

You will be responsible for demonstrating expertise in reconciliation processes, particularly in cash, securities, and unit reconciliation. Your role will involve independently investigating and resolving complex discrepancies, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to maintain accuracy in fund valuation data. It is essential to proactively analyze reconciliation breaks, stay updated on corporate actions and custody statement formats, and be capable of manual reconciliations when required. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends, patterns, and risks within reconciliation data. You will be expected to develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control in reconciliation functions. Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Fund Accounting team members, Operations, Technology, and Compliance is vital for issue resolution and driving process enhancements. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide guidance to the team and stakeholders on reconciliation processes. Keeping abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes is essential. Additionally, you will contribute to training materials and knowledge-sharing sessions related to reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Fund Accounting Operations with a focus on reconciliation processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with reconciliation systems, and a strong understanding of accounting principles are required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant industry certifications such as CFA or CAIA. The position is based in Gurgaon and may require working flexible shifts.
