Carton Erecting Machine Operator

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented machine operator to run and maintain our Carton Erecting Machine used for producing burger boxes, food trays, and fries holders. The ideal candidate should have experience working with packaging or converting machinery and be committed to maintaining high-quality output and safety standards. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Operate the carton erecting machine to produce various food packaging items as per job order • Set up the machine (material loading, alignment, gluing units) for different box types and sizes • Monitor machine speed, glue application, and folding accuracy • Perform quality checks for consistency, creases, glue bonding, and finished box shape • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major problems to maintenance • Perform daily cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine • Track daily production and downtime; maintain records as per shift targets • Coordinate with the finishing and dispatch team to ensure packing and bundling • Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety protocols ⸻ Requirements: • 1–3 years of experience operating converting/packaging machinery (carton, folder-gluer, or die-cutter preferred) • Basic understanding of machine mechanics and adjustments • Physically fit and willing to work on shift basis if needed • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output • Experience in food packaging sector is a plus • Ability to read and understand production job cards
