Carpenter supervisor

As a Carpenter Supervisor based in Gurgaon (Factory), you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating carpentry teams involved in construction, renovation, or maintenance projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and efficient task completion within deadlines. Your key responsibilities will include supervising a team of carpenters and helpers, assigning tasks, and monitoring daily activities to ensure timely project execution. You will be required to interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to guide carpentry work, ensure the correct use of tools and materials, and inspect completed work for accuracy and quality. Furthermore, you will coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers, maintain records of labor and materials, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and construction standards. To qualify for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training or certification in carpentry preferred. You must possess at least 5 years of experience in carpentry, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. Additionally, you should have excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools, the ability to read blueprints and construction documents, strong leadership and team management skills, and attention to detail. Good communication and coordination abilities, as well as familiarity with safety standards and construction regulations, will be essential.
