Job Description Key Accountabilities: Responsibilities The Community Mobiliser will be responsible for facilitating grassroots-level engagement, ensuring effective implementation of field activities, and acting as a vital bridge between the project team and the target communities. The role includes the following key accountabilities: Community Engagement & Mobilization Facilitate meaningful engagement with community members to ensure inclusive participation in project activities. Organize and conduct community meetings, village-level consultations, and awareness campaigns in coordination with the Program Coordinator. Support in the formation and strengthening of community-based DRR committees and local governance structures. Awareness & Capacity Building Assist in the development and execution of awareness generation strategies on disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. Conduct education sessions and thematic campaigns (e.g., We4Resilience) in alignment with project objectives. Field Implementation & Monitoring Monitor and report on the day-to-day progress of project activities in assigned villages. Conduct regular field visits to ensure timely and quality delivery of planned interventions. Collect and verify data related to beneficiary engagement, trainings, and infrastructure activities. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate field records, collect feedback, and submit timely monthly reports to the Program Coordinator. Document impact stories, best practices, and case studies from the field. Conduct photo documentation of project activities and events. Data Entry & MIS Use mobile or app-based tools for real-time data entry and beneficiary tracking. Ensure data quality and integrity in all submissions. Coordination & Support Collaborate closely with local governance institutions, panchayats, and civil society partners for effective implementation. Provide logistical and field support to Caritas India staff during field visits, assessments, and evaluations. Participate in periodic review meetings, capacity-building sessions, and community feedback mechanisms. Job Description Key Accountabilities The Program Extension Associate will play a pivotal role in coordinating, implementing, and managing day-to-day field operations of the SARAL project at the local level. This position bridges operational execution and strategic oversight, working closely with the Program Lead, community mobilisers, and local stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely implementation. Field-Level Planning and Implementation Develop context-specific action plans in alignment with project objectives and support their implementation in coordination with the Program Lead and field team. Lead the execution of daily program activities in project villages and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Budget & Administration Management Manage the local-level budget in accordance with project financial guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Media, Design, Marketing, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of work experience in the communication domain and not-for-profit space.
