Job Title: Caregiver Location: Priaashraya Assisted Living, Bengaluru Employment Type: Full-time (12-hour live-in duty with breaks) Priaashraya is a well-known senior care home in Bengaluru. We look after elderly people with love, respect, and responsibility. Our goal is to make sure every senior feels cared for, comfortable, and happy. As a Caregiver, your main job is to help senior residents with their daily needs. You will assist them with bathing, dressing, brushing, walking, and eating. Some residents may need help moving from bed to chair or while walking, and you must always handle them gently and safely. You will also make sure their rooms and surroundings are clean and tidy. You must be alert and inform the nurse or supervisor if you notice any changes in a resident’s health or behaviour. You will follow the nurse’s instructions while helping residents take their medicines on time but will not give medicines yourself. Caregivers are also expected to talk to residents, make them feel cared for, and keep them company. A smile, kind words, and patience make a big difference in their day. You will work closely with the nurses and other staff members. Every day, you should report your work and anything important that you notice about the residents before ending your shift. You must have completed at least 10th standard (SSLC). If you have done any training in caregiving or home health aide work, it will be an added advantage. You should be clean, disciplined, respectful, and willing to learn. You must also be fit enough to help residents move or walk safely. You should be able to speak in English or Hindi, and knowing Kannada will be helpful. This is a 12-hour live-in duty job with breaks during the day. You will stay in shared staff accommodation provided inside the Priaashraya campus. The job is for one year, and if your work is good, it can be continued further. If you want to leave, or if the company needs to end the job, there should be one month’s notice from either side. The monthly salary will be between ₹14,000 and ₹18,000, based on your skills and experience. You will also be covered under group health insurance as per company policy. ---
