Card Forecasting Portfolio Analytics

In the Loss Forecast and Portfolio Analytics team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., your main role is to provide oversight and drive production of the credit loss forecast and CECL forecast for all credit cards. You will actively help determine the loss forecasting results and drivers, understand the impact of model updates, identify and size the impact of emerging risks in the Card portfolio, and identify key trends affecting the card portfolio's losses and profitability in both baseline and stress scenarios. Additionally, you will participate in cross-functional communications with Risk Management, Finance, Marketing, and Collections to inform forecasts and incorporate strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include leading advanced analyses to assess relationships and patterns driving loss performance, producing the loss forecast, and maintaining associated loss models. You will also spearhead best-in-class documentation and operational risk and audit controls surrounding loss forecasting and LLR. - A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance/Stats/Econ/Math/Engineering) or equivalent work/training is required. An advanced degree is preferred. - 8+ years of experience in Credit Risk Management, Statistical Modeling, Marketing Analytics, and/or Consulting. Essential skills: - Strong knowledge of Python, SAS, or SQL is required. - Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and understand its impact in operational and financial areas. - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Preferred skills: - Prior exposure to credit forecasting or underwriting of unsecured lending products like credit cards, personal loans, or BNPL. - Some exposure to automation and dashboard creation. - Strong knowledge of P&L and understanding of profitability drivers.,
